Versailles Home Fashions Relocates In Montreal Suburb

In July 2019, Versailles Home Fashions announced the relocation of its 50,000 sq. ft. Canadian headquarters from the eastern part of Montreal to the Montreal suburb of Baie-D’Urfe into a new 325,000 sq.ft. warehousing campus managed by a 3PL that includes offices, showrooms and inventory.
The decision to relocate is in response to Versailles’ growing customer base within Canada, the U.S. and internationally. The established logistical infrastructure of a 3PL was an obvious and positive choice for Versailles, which was established in 1987. This modern business model has allowed Versailles faster turn-around times in shipping and handling—much better suited particularly to today’s dot-com expectations.
The new offices are outfitted with the most recent technologies. The showroom can be visited directly by videoconferencing, allowing for convenient meetings for buyers and sellers. Significant investments in IT have enabled several cloud-based technologies to be put in place. This was important to Versailles’ management, allowing several long-time team members to remain within the family owned business, yet work remotely.
More details are available at The New York showroom is still located at 261 Fifth Avenue, suite 1507, where designs in drapery hardware and home accents are on view during N.Y. Home Fashions Market. E-mail, telephone, and fax coordinates have not changed. All inquiries can be directed to
