Las Vegas Market Poised For Record-Breaking Participation

Visitors to Las Vegas Market, Jan. 27 to 31, 2019, will experience a robust array of resources in permanent showrooms as well as in the Pavilions housing temporary exhibits.
Temporary gift and home décor leasing is pacing at an all-time high with nearly 600 new and returning exhibitors. Pavilion One includes GIFT, DESIGN LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE sections. Pavilion Two features HOME, DESIGN HOME and DISCOVERIES: THE ANTIQUE VINTAGE MARKETPLACE.
One of the special events at this Market is Boardroom III, a group of premier interior designers hosted by Gail Doby, consultant and business coach for interior designers. During their five-day visit, the designers will meet with market exhibitors, explore product lines and participate in a three-day business coaching session with Doby.
Doby is also presenting “How to Set Client Expectations & Keep Them, and You, Happy” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27. The seminar is open to all Las Vegas Market attendees and will feature “smart steps” for helping designers set boundaries and manage client expectations. The presentation is CEU-accredited and will be followed by a reception with Doby.
Other seminars offered during Market include “Modern Merchandising: Ten Stores That Are Doing It Right,” “Creative Business Strategies To Boost Your Profitability” and “Focus Your Product Selection For Profitability.”
