Standard Textile Ventures From Hotel To Home

Cincinnati, OH-based Standard Textile, which has been serving the hospitality sector since its creation in 1940, recently launched Standard Textile Home (833-347-5707, standardtextilehome.com). David Linich, Standard Textile’s group vice-president, Home Division, shares insights into the home bed and bath goods brand.

What sets Standard Textile Home products apart?
“Standard Textile Home brings 80 years’ experience crafting luxury experiences in four- and five-star hotels around the world, such as Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and many more. With more than 80 patents, our products perform better. For example, our Centium Core technology enables our products to last about two times longer and stay soft wash after wash.
“We own and operate advanced manufacturing centers in the U.S. and around the world. Our decision to launch a direct-to-consumer brand was largely in response to requests from consumers. For years, guests who had great experiences with our products in luxury hotels had been asking how they could purchase them, which is why we had a waiting list of more than 5,000 customers before we launched.
“We have taken proven hotel luxury and blended that with elements of color and style that consumers demand in the home.”

What is the price range of the home products?
“Standard Textile Home offers luxury hotel products at affordable prices. Our towels range from $50 to $80 for a two-piece bath set, sheets from $90 to $130 for a set and pillows between $80 and $100 for a set of two.”

How are Standard Textile Home products sold?
“We are excited to launch an offering tailored to interior designers, architects and vacation rental owners and managers. We offer discounts, tax exemption and a dedicated service team. Our full assortment is available now through our website, at standardtextilehome.com and more limited assortments are available through Amazon, and soon through Wayfair and Zola. We’ve also had lots of interest from various retailers and mattress companies, so be on the lookout for Standard Textile Home in more places in the future.”
