With the impending sale of 295 Fifth Avenue, the Home Fashion Products Association (HFPA) is taking action to preserve industry showroom presence in New York City. On July 12, 2019, the HFPA 295 Fifth Avenue Committee announced Savills as the preferred brokerage and advisory firm for industry tenants.
The committee selected Savills for its creative approach to identifying potential sites that could be the future home of the textiles industry, should HFPA members and other companies need to relocate when new 295 Fifth Avenue owners are in place.
A number of 295 Fifth Avenue tenants have joined the HFPA effort, including: Keeco LLC, Lichtenberg, Trident, Kassatex, Natco, American Textile Company, GHCL, Avanti, Indocount and Royale Linens. Savills hosted conference calls in July to introduce themselves and the advisory process to interested companies.
HFPA members and non-members are welcome to join the group. If you are interested in joining the 295 Fifth Avenue group or in HFPA membership, contact Teresa Aceto at email@example.com.
