IHGF Delhi Fair, the world’s largest show for home, lifestyle, fashion and textiles, returns to the India Expo Centre & Mart, New Delhi NCR, India, for its Spring 2018 edition, scheduled from Feb. 23 to 27, 2018. While India’s top manufacturers, exporters and artisan groups queue up to be among the nearly 3,000 exhibitors in the forthcoming edition of this sourcing show, overseas buyers are expected to turn out in large numbers. Fair visitors also get access to the 900 permanent showrooms on four levels at the India Expo Centre.
Spring 2018 brings significant expansion in all categories, including furniture and accessories, hand-printed textiles, shawls, stoles and scarves, embroidered goods, lace, decorative gifts and home textiles through exhibitors drawn from all major manufacturing hubs, artisan clusters and craft pockets of India.
Theme Pavilions and regional representations offer opportunities to source directly from artisans and new entrepreneurs, in addition to established exporters. Designers Forum, a new addition at this fair, presents collections from select established and upcoming Indian designers.
The Spring 2018 edition is expected to be a success following the outstanding turnout for the Autumn 2017 edition of IHGF Delhi Fair, held Oct. 12 to 16, 2017 in the India Expo Centre & Mart, which beat expectations with more than 3,000 exhibitors in 14 show sectors. The upsurge in participants was met with quality buyer traffic from all over the world, including U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, South America, the Middle East and Asia.
IHGF Delhi Fair is organized twice every year for Spring and Autumn, by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), a non-profit organization and the apex organization representing handicraft manufacturers and exporters across India.
