Home Textiles Sourcing Expo At Javits Center July 17 To 19

Home Textiles Sourcing Expo, one of the largest sourcing events in North America to solely focus on fabrics and finished soft goods for all home applications, takes place July 17 to 19, 2017 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. It is co-located alongside Texworld USA, ApparelSourcing USA and Avanprint USA.

Home Textiles Sourcing Expo provides manufacturers, retailers, jobbers, converters, contract specifiers and designers with a one-stop sourcing venue to locate new fabrics and products. More than 140 companies from eight countries showcase soft goods in these categories: window, table, bed, bath, upholstery and floor.

In addition to representation from exciting sourcing destinations such as Lithuania, Taiwan, Korea and the U.S., four specific Country Pavilions are located in Hall 1A:

• Pakistan: Presented by the Trade Development authority of Pakistan, eight suppliers focus on quality home products, such as towels and ready made bedding.

• India: Sponsored by the Handloom Export Promotion Council, the pavilion features 11 companies specializing in handmade rugs and floor coverings, with live handloom demonstrations.

• Turkey: Eight quality suppliers specializing in mid-range to high-end bath textiles and bedding are showcased.

• Suzhou China: Well-known as the center of China’s silk trade for centuries, the Suzhou region is represented by 13 suppliers specializing in quality silk bedding and home textiles.

The Texworld USA Seminar Series, organized by Lenzing Innovation, returns with new home-focused topics (see sidebar), as well the Texworld USA Floor Sessions.

In addition to seminars, registered Home Textiles Sourcing Expo attendees also have access to Avanprint USA, the newest co-located trade event that showcases digital printing pioneers and their latest innovations in digital textile printing technology, including machinery, inks, software, services and more. Messe Frankfurt, Inc. produces the Home Textiles Sourcing Expo in partnership with CCPIT-TEX, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The mission of CCPIT-TEX is to support the development of the textile industry.
